AGEG is the only association in Georgia focused on Embalmers!

Our members are a great pool of information for embalmers across the state and the southeast. AGEG offers specific training for your profession and opportunities to earn your Continuing Education Hours for your licensing requirements. Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need to renew each year? To be a current AGEG member and to maintain your member benefits annually, dues must be renewed each year. 
  • Do Emeritus members need to complete a form? To ensure the accuracy of AGEG records and maintain your member benefits annually, a membership form is required each year. Remember to initial the appropriate line on your dues form to indicate your **Emeritus status**. 
  • Do I need to renew if I am not attending the Summit? To be a current AGEG member and to maintain your member benefits annually, dues must be renewed each year. Summit attendance and registration are separate from membership.
  • Do you offer membership for Students?  Students may join AGEG at no charge. For more information about Student membership and the form visit HERE

IMPORTANT REMINDERS 
  • Fully completed forms are required annually for AGEG Membership (forms or payment are not accepted by phone or text).
  • Dues must be current for discounted Member rates for events.
  • Memberships dues are payable each year on January 1 regardless of Summit attendance.  
  • Membership is per individual (not funeral home or supplier company).  
  • Emeritus status is defined as: At least 65 years of age with 20 years as a Licensed Embalmer and 10 years of continuous paying dues membership with the Academy of Graduate Embalmers. Emeritus members must complete a membership form annually to indicate they wish to continue their membership.
  • The AGEG logo may only be used by current AGEG members and must be used in a proper manner.
  • AGEG Members will automatically be added to our AGEG News email system and mailing list. 
  • Dues are not refundable due to Summit cancellation.

Non-renewals as March 30 will be removed from our email system, mailing lists, and our private Facebook group.
Non-members do not receive member pricing for AGEG events and do not receive AGEG News emails or event mailers.
Non-members do not have permission to use the AGEG logo.
